He has built some of the most remarkable cabins in Alaska, as well as tree houses for his sons too!

The owner of This Is My Alaska has been building cabins since he was 10. He’s simply remarkable!

Net Worth

Guys building their cabins and showcasing their progress on Youtube are typically wealthier than we imagine. And so, at least for now, this is my best estimate…

As of 2024, This is my Alaska has a net worth of $2,350,000 USD. This is based on the value of his land, truck and cabins, plus his profitable YouTube channel.

That certainly helps him live the idyllic life in the woods.

It’s also surprising how much he makes with his channel. The following (like my net worth estimation above) is actually my best estimate, based on his channel and social media engagement metrics. 🙂

This is my Alaska makes $3,000 per month on YouTube through advertising revenue.

It’s a shame really, as he could make so much more. But how?

➜ He could add affiliate links to tools he uses

➜ He could start his own Patreon (I would donate!)

➜ He could sell his own exclusive merchandise

➜ If he found a great brand, he could create a partnership

It’s clear that he’s not quite treating his channel like a real business just yet, despite having so much traction.

I haven’t seen him hang out with other Alaskan creators.

Future Plans

He is Alaskan born and bred, and isn’t planning to stop this lifestyle anytime soon!

I haven’t found any gossip or trickery with this channel. They’re as real as they come!

What can we learn from his #cabinpreneur journey?

➜ Kids learn a lot by doing

➜ Salvage as much as you can

➜ Hard work does pay off

And be willing to learn as you go!

My Thoughts

I’m absolutely inspired, motivated and enthrilled by what this YouTube channel has created, mostly with recycled materials.

I hope he’ll keep creating for years to come!
