Let’s journey into his #cabinlife story.

The Channel

Kyles Cabin

Real Name(s)

Kyles Cabin’s real name is Kyle Helmberger (age 29)

His girlfriend is Cierra Justine Meyerberg (age 27)

They aren’t engaged but it does seem likely.

The Cabin

He has built 2 remarkable log cabins from scratch.

Remarkably, each only cost less than $10,000.

Along the way, he has upgraded his latest cabin with:

➜ A wood fire

➜ His own garden

➜ Running water

➜ An EcoFLow River Mini Wireless for power

Kyle isn’t against modern technology, but only when it serves a purpose.

He reminds many of us of McCandless from Into The Wild who was against the materialistic world.

There was a small period when they had a tiny house on wheels.

While I’ve found his Minnesota location on Google Maps, I’ve chosen NOT to share this with anyone. This is to protect his privacy and potential vandalism/intruders that might come.

Kyle was raised in the woods and with skills he acquired along the way, he was able to build his first cabin from scratch several years ago.

It took a while for the channel to blow up in cize.

Net Worth

Guys on Youtube are typically wealthier than we imagine. Right now, my best estimate is that:

As of 2024, KYLES CABIN has a net worth of $570,000 USD. This is based on the value of his land, cabin, online business and truck.

That certainly helps him live the idyllic life in the woods.

It’s also surprising how much he makes with his channel.

KYLES CABIN makes $2,400 per month on YouTube with the ads that play on his channel and links to Amazon products where he receives a commission.

While it’s clear that he’s treating his channel like a real business, he has under-monetized his channel.

I haven’t yet seen him featured on any other homesteading channels.

There are a few I’d love to see him do an interview with.

Big Moments

During his journey, Kyle has experienced:

➜ Multiple freezing snow storms

➜ Random people inboxing Cierra

➜ They also got a puppy some years ago (well, he’s grown up now!)

Fortunately, no wolves, snakes or bears.

Future Plans

They’re extremely content about where they are, but I hope the channel doesn’t die out now.

Perhaps they could build a homestead and start a family?

People have been asking about their relationship, but I have no gossip to share here.

Their channel really focuses on their cabin lifestyle rather than a couple and their relationship plans.

What can we learn from his #cabinpreneur journey?

➜ You DON’T need much money

➜ You DON’T need much land

➜ You simply need a willingness to try

…and paired with a supportive partner.

If we were to compare Kyle’s life to that of someone with a 30-year mortgage, it’s clear which one 99% of us would choose right now.

My Thoughts

His channel has become a beacon of hope for many young people who are trapped with the burdening cost of homes across the world.

For less than a year’s salary, Kyle has built a remarkable cabin with limited experience and tools. He simply didn’t wish to be shackled down by a mortgage and the limitations that come with that.

His cabin build series is a gift to the cabin living and homesteader community, and we have a ton to be thank for.
