Let’s journey into his #farmlife story.

The Channel

Cole The Cornstar

Real Name(s)

Cole (age 24)

His dad runs his own channel called Daddy Cornstar which Cole inspired him to start (with a ton of encouragement from Cole’s audience too).

The Farm

The 1,700 acre farm is focused on corn. It also has several houses, sheds and a ton of equipment.

He’s based in Marshalltown, Iowa, but I don’t have his exact address.

He doesn’t like it when YouTube fans arrive at the farm gate unannounced and expect free tours. This man has real work to do.

Cole grew up on the farm and turned on the camera, not expecting much. The channel blew up pretty quickly and he hasn’t stopped since.

Net Worth

Guys on Youtube are typically wealthier than we imagine.

As of 2024, Cole The Cornstar has a net worth of $975,000. This is based on the value of his home, truck and online business.

Once he inherits the farm in 40 years, he’ll be worth around $7 million USD.

It’s also surprising how much he makes with his channel.

I estimate that based on his social metrics, Cole The Cornstar makes $12,500 per month on YouTube.

Yes, that’s quite impressive for a guy in his 20’s. A 6-figure income online isn’t easy!

He does this through:

➜ YouTube ads that play on his channel

➜ Official merchandise sales (T-shirts etc)

➜ Numerous farming brand sponsorships

It’s clear that he’s treating his channel like a real business which helps him if he has a bad season.

He has been featured on numerous other farming channels.

Big Moments

Cole’s journey hasn’t been easy.

During his time, he has experienced:

➜ Anna and Rick (the dogs) passed away)

➜ Their farm was destroyed by a windstorm

➜ He restored the old farm mansion

But he keeps pushing through these challenges. He’s a young man and has a ton to learn still.

Future Plans

One day, Cole plans to take over from his father. Until then, he’s still learning, growing and sharing his journey with others.

And the best part? He’ll never sell the family farm.

None that I could find.

What can we learn from his #farmlife journey?

➜ Farming CAN be a young man’s game

➜ Start learning how to grow your own food

➜ Stay humble and committed to your journey

And realize that homesteading = true freedom.

My Thoughts

Cole The Cornstar is a gift to the farming community.

He’s dispelled the myth that farmers are only old people.

He also reminds us of the need to always support farmers around the world.

I certainly look forward to watching his family farm evolve over the next 10 years.
